Ana Nives Radovic

Have you ever wondered how art, finance, and technology intersect? In 2003, as I pursued fine art, I came to the realization that while I had perfected my painting and drawing techniques, I needed to gain expertise in market positioning and financial profitability to truly succeed. That’s when I turned to the world of finance, earning degrees in economics (2007) and EU law (2010) to better understand how monetary systems work. During my research, I stumbled upon blockchain, the revolutionary technology that’s transforming the way we exchange value and trust online.

My fascination with mathematics and numbers led me to pursue a master’s degree in economics and finance, and then later in bitcoin and blockchain. And now, as a Ph.D. candidate in applied blockchain, I’m diving deeper into the role of trust and openness in finance and monetary economics. Through my research, I’ve discovered key principles of blockchain that have led me to the exciting world of non-fungible tokens – NFTs.

By combining my passions for art, finance, and technology, I’ve created a portfolio exploring these fields’ intersection. Through my NFT research, I’m exploring the fascinating world of cryptography and art, where the possibilities are endless, and where I see a way for copyright protection of visual arts.
