For a while, I’ve been quiet – not because I had nothing to say, but because I was listening to the rhythms waiting to take shape. And now, it’s time.
This project is about feeling art in a way that isn’t just visual. It’s about crossing wires in the brain, making the eyes listen and the ears see. It’s about synesthesia, but not just as a concept, as an experience.
There will be 88 paintings, just like the 88 keys on a piano – some on white canvas, some on black, each holding a note, a rhythm, a movement.
I don’t want you to just look at these paintings. I want you to hear them. I want you to stand in front of them and feel something shift inside you, like music does when it hits the right note at the right moment.
This journey begins on March 29th, 2025 – World Piano Day.
The project will kick off in Den Haag, with deliveries to Aachen and Antwerp scheduled for April 3rd, as requested.
